Primary Purpose of the Role
As Playworker, you will work under the instruction and guidance of the Childcare Managers to deliver high-quality childcare during Breakfast, Afterschool, and Holiday Club sessions. You'll be instrumental in ensuring children have a safe, enjoyable, and enriching experience before and after school and during holidays.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience working with children aged 3 years and above in a formal childcare setting
- A passion for creating a nurturing environment where children can explore and have fun
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children and adults alike
- An understanding of child development and the ability to plan engaging activities
- Ability to work effectively both under supervision and as part of a team
- Reliability and a strong sense of responsibility regarding the safety and welfare of children
- Flexibility in working hours as required, including evening and holiday hours
- An eagerness to engage in continued professional development
