Primary Purpose of the Role

As Playworker, you will work under the instruction and guidance of the Childcare Managers to deliver high-quality childcare during Breakfast, Afterschool, and Holiday Club sessions. You'll be instrumental in ensuring children have a safe, enjoyable, and enriching experience before and after school and during holidays.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience working with children aged 3 years and above in a formal childcare setting
  • A passion for creating a nurturing environment where children can explore and have fun
  • Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children and adults alike
  • An understanding of child development and the ability to plan engaging activities
  • Ability to work effectively both under supervision and as part of a team
  • Reliability and a strong sense of responsibility regarding the safety and welfare of children
  • Flexibility in working hours as required, including evening and holiday hours
  • An eagerness to engage in continued professional development
