The Governors of this friendly Catholic high school are looking to appoint an intelligent, resourceful and conscientious examinations officer. The postholder will take responsibility for the organisation and administration of examinations and associated administration within our school, and will also have admissions responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

  • Organise and administer examinations and related documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with examination regulations and school policies.
  • Coordinate admissions processes and support the wider school staff team.
  • Maintain accurate examination records and communicate results.

Key qualifications & experience

  • Experience of examination administration and compliance with examination regulations is ideal but not essential.
  • Previous experience in a school or educational setting is desirable.
  • Right to work in the UK without sponsorship.

Personal attributes

  • Self‑motivated, organised and able to work well under pressure.
  • Great attention to detail and strong commitment to accuracy.
  • Willingness to uphold the Catholic ethos and policies of the school.
  • Excellent teamwork and relationship‑building skills.

Other requirements

  • Full DBS check (enhanced) is required.
