Working Hours: 27.5 hours Mon-Friday 8.30am-2.30pm (includes 1 / 2 hour unpaid break).

Contract Type: Permanent, Term Time only.

Location: Springside Primary School - Springside Road, Walmersley, Bury, BL9 5JB (NOT TURNPIKE DEPOT).

About the role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of an expanding school, Springside Primary School in Bury. Citywide are committed to improving the diet of young people in Salford. As a Cook Supervisor you will be customer focussed with the ability to motivate and lead a team in a busy Primary School environment. You would be responsible for the cooking and organisation of the catering service within school, providing a healthy school lunch which meets the Governments nutrient based standards. Supervisory experience within a catering environment is essential together with a high standard of food presentation and hygiene.

Please be aware that this post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and that you will be required to meet the cost of the DBS check currently £49.50. The payment for this will be deducted from your first four months’ salary payments at a rate of £12.38 per month. If you do not commence employment for any reason but the DBS has been processed, you will be sent an invoice for the payment of £49.50.
