The Governors, staff and children at Lark Hill Primary school are looking to appoint an outstanding classroom practitioner to share in our vision within our multi-cultural school. All children deserve the very best and we are looking for a professional who has a passion for teaching and learning and is committed to our school values.
The school has an Executive Head teacher and works in partnership with Christ Church CE Primary School and Lewis Street Primary School.
The successful candidate:
- Is an outstanding classroom practitioner with experience of working in Key Stage 2
- Is able to demonstrate a knowledge of children’s development
- Is able to plan and adapt learning to meet the needs of all groups of pupils
- Values teamwork and has experience of deploying additional adults to ensure progress
- Is committed to and understands the importance of experiential learning
- Has high expectations of themselves and all pupils and places relationships at the core of their practice
- Models excellent teaching and professional standards for the whole school community
- Promotes and models the school values of NURTURE, ACHIEVE and RESPECT
- Promotes and models the school vision including infusing honesty and integrity into all of school life
- Creates a stimulating, supportive, organised, interactive and informative learning environment that encourages each child to achieve his/her full potential
