About the Role
The Salford Safeguarding Adults Board (SSAB) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Business Officer to support the strategic and operational delivery of the work of the Board. This is a pivotal role, working closely with the Independent Chair, members of the Business Unit, Board members, and multi-agency partners to ensure the smooth running of the Board and its subgroups.
Key Responsibilities
As Senior Business Officer, you will:
Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Safeguarding Adults Board, including coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, taking accurate minutes, maintaining action logs, and ensuring timely follow-up on decisions and actions.
Support the smooth operation of Board activities and subgroups through effective communication, document management, and stakeholder liaison
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in business support or project management within a safeguarding, health, or social care setting.
- Organised and proactive, with excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Confident working with senior leaders and multi-agency partners.
- Knowledgeable and confident in using a variety of IT systems to effectively support administrative functions and ensure smooth operational delivery.
- Provide high-quality administrative support to the Board and its subgroups, including accurate minute-taking, updating action logs, and ensuring timely follow-up on agreed actions
