Service Manager (Fixed-Term, 6 Months) – Barton Moss Secure Care Centre
Barton Moss Secure Care Centre is a 24-bed secure care setting comprising four residential homes. We provide care for boys under the age of 18 who are either sentenced or remanded and are part of the National Secure Accommodation Network.
The centre has a strong track record of delivering high-quality, trauma-informed care. Our approach supports children to achieve positive personal, social and educational outcomes and successfully resettle into their communities.

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Service Manager to join our leadership team. The successful candidate will provide effective leadership, support and supervision to a small team of Heads of Homes and specialist staff.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support managers to deliver outstanding care and practice.
- Ensure compliance with the Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.
- Drive continuous improvement across the service.
- Promote a culture of trauma-informed and child-centred practice.
- Secure positive outcomes for the children in our care.
