We’re excited to welcome a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Learning Support Assistant to join our friendly and diverse school community at Lewis Street Primary. A Level 3 Learning Support Assistant at Lewis Street Primary School plays a key role in supporting our youngest learners to feel safe, valued, and ready to explore. Working closely with the Early Years team, you will help deliver engaging, play‑based learning that sparks curiosity and builds confidence. You will support individuals and small groups, including children with SEND, while promoting positive behaviour and strong relationships. As part of our inclusive, multi‑cultural school community, you will help create a nurturing environment where every child can thrive, reflecting our commitment to excellence and ensuring each child develops a love of learning from the very start.

We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic individual who holds a Level 3 Teaching and Learning qualification relevant for Early Years (or equivalent) to join our team. You will bring a strong understanding of the EYFS and Year 1 curriculum, including programmes such as Read Write Inc Phonics, alongside knowledge of SEND and positive behaviour approaches. You will plan and adapt engaging learning for all pupils, contribute to whole‑class teaching, and help foster an inspiring school culture.
