Floating Primary Cook Supervisor
Location
Based at Turnpike Depot – required to work across the city.
Working Hours
27.5 hours, Monday‑Friday 8:30 am–2:30 pm.
Contract Type
Permanent, term‑time only. Must have a valid UK driving licence.
About the role
This position is ideal for someone who wants to progress in their catering career.
Citywide is committed to improving the diet of young people in Salford.
The post requires regular travel within the city and Greater Manchester area.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a quality catering service is maintained while covering for the absence of the Cook Supervisor.
Supervisory experience within a catering environment is essential and you will be supported by an Area Supervisor.
A high standard of food presentation, hygiene, and excellent customer care skills are also essential.
Qualifications
NVQ2 in Catering, City & Guilds 706/2 in Catering, and a current Basic Hygiene certificate are essential. The role also requires a DBS check.
