The Governors, staff and children at Lewis Street Primary School are looking to appoint 2 outstanding practitioners to work with 2 of our Upper Key Stage 2 classes. All children deserve the very best and we are looking for a professional who has a passion for quality first teaching and learning.
We require a teacher who:
- Is an outstanding classroom practitioner with experience of working in a primary school, with a focus on Key Stage 2
- Is able to demonstrate knowledge of the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum
- Is able to plan and adapt to meet the needs of all groups of pupils
- Values teamwork and has experience of deploying additional adults to ensure progress
- Is committed and understands the importance of experiential learning
- Has high expectations of themselves and all pupils and places relationships at the core of their practice
- Models excellent teaching and professional standards for the whole school community and that of our partner schools
- Promotes and models the school values of EXCELLENCE; RESPECT; CHALLENGE and SELF-BELIEF
- Promotes and models the school vision including infusing honesty and integrity into all of school life
- Creates a stimulating, supportive, organised, interactive and informative learning environment that encourages each child to achieve his/her full potential
