About us Venues in Salford is the commercial catering team for Salford City Council. We are looking for casual catering assistants to work in our two venues, Buile Hill Park Hall and The Court House, Worsley.
About the Role As casual catering assistant you will be working alongside the Duty Manager in a hospitality environment. Your main tasks will be serving meals to members of the public, council staff and councillors. You will also be completing general bar work whilst providing a safe and clean environment for our customers, colleagues and partners. Our casual way of working gives you the flexibility to work hours that suit you. We endeavour to provide you with shifts on a month by month basis. If any additional work becomes available these can be offered to you at short notice. You will be required to work regular evenings and weekends.
About you We are looking for hardworking, trusting, reliable individuals who can work in a team. Your approach to working will reflect The Council\βs values and they will be central to the way in which you behave with colleagues, customers and partners.
