We have two exciting part‑time positions available for a Receptionist whose role is to form an integral part of the leisure team working within leisure facilities in Salford. The positions will be based at one of our busiest facilities: Eccles Leisure Centre, Barton Lane, Eccles M30 0DD. The facility attracts a large number of attendances and has a growing membership with a variety of fitness classes delivered each week.

Working Hours

  • Vacancy No 1 – 17.5 Hours
  • Vacancy No 2 – 14 Hours

Opportunity open to everyone who is passionate about customer care and helping their community. We are looking for someone who:

  • Is experienced in a reception setting.
  • Is able to communicate telephone / face‑to‑face enquiries.
  • Is able to handle enquiries correctly.
  • Has attention to detail.
  • Has the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Has the ability to work without close supervision.
  • Has the ability to work as an efficient member of a team.
  • Has knowledge of customer care techniques.
  • Has experience of cash till / cash handling.
  • Can consistently demonstrate SCL’s behaviours.

Please be aware that this post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and that you will be required to meet the cost of the DBS check currently £49.50. The payment for this will be deducted from your first two months’ salary payments at a rate of £24.75 per month.
