Do you enjoy sport, arts or creative activities and want to help children have fun and stay active? Are you looking for flexible, rewarding work supporting high‑quality activity sessions for children aged 4 to 16 as part of an experienced team? Salford Community Leisure's Active Communities team delivers exciting, innovative, and highly regarded activities across the City of Salford to children and young people aged 4 to 16 years. We are looking to recruit a number of casual employees to assist in the delivery of our highly engaging and rewarding activity, holiday and party programmes during the summer of 2026.

We encourage candidates to ensure their application demonstrates the skills, knowledge and behaviours outlined in the Person Specification. This post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. You will be required to meet the cost of the DBS check (currently £49.50 for an enhanced check). The payment will be taken back over two payments directly from the first two months' salary payments. If you do not commence employment for any reason but the DBS has been processed, you will be sent an invoice for the payment. If you have lived or worked abroad for 3 months or more in the last 5 years, or 12 months or more (whether continuously or in total) in the last 10 years while aged 18 or over, please check the guidance for obtaining Certificates of Good Character.
