About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join the successful and highly motivated Health Department at Eccles Sixth Form College as a Work Experience Officer. Our Early Years provision prepares learners for careers within childcare and education settings, and we are seeking a dedicated professional who is passionate about supporting students to develop valuable industry experience. The successful candidate will hold a relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years and Education together with an Assessor qualification. This flexible role includes adaptable working days and reimbursed travel expenses.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting students to secure and succeed in meaningful Early Years placements
- Conducting safeguarding and employer checks
- Carrying out placement visits
- Monitoring attendance and placement hours
- Building strong partnerships with nurseries, schools, and other Early Years providers
The ideal candidate will be organised, proactive, and committed to enhancing the learner experience, with strong communication, IT, and relationship‑building skills and the ability to work effectively with students, employers, parents/carers, and curriculum staff.
