We are seeking a highly skilled Trainer/Assessor in Functional Skills Maths to join our dynamic work-based learning team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about Functional Skills and able to demonstrate strong subject knowledge, practical experience, and a clear understanding of how Maths supports successful apprenticeship outcomes. They must be confident in motivating and managing a caseload of learners 1‑1, and small class delivery to achieve in a timely manner and be committed to continually improving the delivery of teaching, learning and assessment.
Responsibilities
- Bring creativity and innovation to delivery, contributing to the development of high-quality resources and engaging learning experiences.
- Motivate and manage a caseload of learners 1‑1 and small classes to achieve successful outcomes.
- Continuously improve delivery of teaching, learning and assessment.
Requirements
- A full driving licence and access to own vehicle (role involves travel across multiple North West locations).
- Recognised teaching qualification and Level 2 (or above) qualifications in both English and Maths.
- Proven track record of working effectively with employers and supporting learners to achieve excellent results.
