You will join a team of dedicated Inclusion Support Assistants in our Learning Support Department. As an Inclusion Support Assistant, you will support students studying a diverse range of subjects and will be required to work across the college's different Centres within the SCC group. You will work alongside classroom tutors to break down barriers and ensure that learners are able to access the curriculum and reach their full potential. We're looking for a passionate and innovative individual who understands the challenges that young people with SEND may face in their learning. The ideal candidate will take a proactive, person-centred approach to ensure every learner receives the support they need to succeed.
Responsibilities
- Support students across a diverse range of subjects and Centre locations within the SCC group.
- Work alongside classroom tutors to break down barriers to learning and help learners access the curriculum.
- Adopt a proactive, person-centred approach to ensure every learner receives the support they need to succeed.
