We are seeking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Biology Teacher to join our highly successful and supportive vocational science department at Pendleton College. This full-time (1.0 FTE) role involves delivering high-quality teaching across our Access to Science, Applied Science, and AAQ Medical Science courses, offering an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse and motivated cohort of learners and support their progression to university, apprenticeships, and careers within the science and healthcare sectors.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging and high-quality Biology teaching across Level 3 programs, supporting learners on Access, Applied Science and AAQ Medical Science pathways, while planning and delivering inclusive, well-sequenced lessons that promote sustained progress. You will provide timely developmental feedback to enhance learner achievement and contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities.

We are looking for a qualified teacher with a specialism in Biology or a related subject, strong subject knowledge across key biological concepts, and ideally experience of teaching post-16 learners. You will be passionate about supporting learners from a wide range of backgrounds and committed to inclusive teaching and maintaining high expectations for all learners.
