We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Psychology and Counselling teacher to teach across Level 1 to Level 4 programmes in Psychology, Counselling, and Mental Health-related subjects. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and industry-relevant lessons that support learners in developing the academic knowledge, interpersonal skills, and reflective practice required for progression into higher education, professional training, or employment within the counselling, mental health, and social care sectors.
The role includes teaching a range of specialist subjects including:
- core psychological approaches and theories
- counselling theories and therapeutic models
- mental health and wellbeing
- research methods and data analysis
- communication and helping skills
- ethical and professional practice
- contemporary issues within Psychology and Counselling
You will be passionate about education, committed to high standards of teaching and learning, and able to inspire students through innovative, inclusive, and supportive delivery. Industry or professional experience within counselling, psychology, mental health, wellbeing, social care, or related fields would be highly valued.
We have generous terms and conditions including 13 weeks holiday (195 days in College). We have a 2:30pm finish on Fridays, free on-site parking and various health and wellbeing resources and benefit schemes including three Staff Wellbeing days per year.
