We are seeking a Supplier Quality Inspector to ensure the consistent quality of components and assemblies used in caravan and motorhome production. You will play a key role in checking incoming materials through visual and measurement-based inspection, verifying products against engineering specifications and approved samples. The role involves identifying and managing non-conforming parts, supporting root cause investigations, and helping to put effective fixes in place with suppliers. You will use inspection tools, gauges, and sampling methods to assess product quality, maintain accurate records, and support performance tracking. Working closely with internal teams and suppliers, you will help drive improvements, ensure clear communication of quality issues, and maintain control of master samples and inspection standards across the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage supplier quality issues by investigating root causes, agreeing fixes, and ensuring corrective actions are completed.
- Monitor supplier performance through audits, site visits, and key measures such as defect rates and response times.
- Approve new and changed parts, ensuring they meet required standards before use in production.
- Set clear quality expectations with suppliers and define how incoming materials will be checked and accepted.
- Work with suppliers to improve performance and resolve production and fitment problems using structured problem-solving methods.

- Experience managing supplier quality issues, investigating root causes, and ensuring corrective actions.
- Knowledge of supplier performance monitoring, audits, and key metrics.
