We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant Apprentice. This role offers a unique opportunity to begin a rewarding career in education, gaining hands-on experience in the classroom while working towards a recognised qualification. You will play a key role in supporting students – particularly those with additional needs – to access learning, build confidence, and achieve their full potential within a fully inclusive school community.
Responsibilities
- Assist teachers in delivering lessons and activities to all students.
- Provide additional support to pupils with SEND, helping them gain access to the curriculum and develop confidence.
- Support classroom management, ensuring a focused and disruption-free learning environment.
- Contribute to the planning, delivery and assessment of teaching materials in line with the school’s CPD programme.
- Participate in reflective practice, coaching and professional development sessions.
Qualifications
- Current Level 3 Apprenticeship qualification in Teaching Assistant or equivalent.
