The Role: As Business Development Manager Real Estate, you will be a key member of the sales team responsible for leading new business growth within the UK Real Estate sector. Working closely with the Real Estate Subject Matter Expert to position our clients' platform for developers, asset managers and property investors. Educating the market on robust, place-based social impact measurement aligned to ESG and investor expectations. Converting sector interest into multi-year enterprise SaaS contracts. This role will suit somebody with a desire to drive positive change in social sustainability, ready to play a key role in the continued growth of the company as part of a small but agile team. Our client needs somebody willing to invest in developing a unique set of skills to support their commercial goals, and the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in helping their customers report their positive impact on society.
Key Responsibilities:
- Report to the Head of Sales your performance against commercial objectives and targets
- Own your own sales funnel from enquiry to close
- Maintain a personal sales plan for ongoing engagement with assigned accounts
- Source new sales leads from your own prospecting
- Lead online and in-person product demonstrations
- Attend in-person meetings in the UK
- Represent the business at industry events
- Provide regular feedback to other parts of the business on customer requirements and market intelligence
Person Specification:
Essential knowledge & experience:
- B2B enterprise SaaS sales experience
- Demonstrable success in an enterprise sales environment
- Comfortable delivering software demonstrations remotely using Teams, Google Hangouts, Zoom or similar
- Familiarity with the operation of a CRM such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive or similar
- A detailed record keeper
- Able to travel across the UK for ad hoc meetings and events
- Able to travel to head office in Belfast on a quarterly basis
Desirable knowledge & experience:
- Experience / detailed knowledge of the Real Estate industry
- Experience in sales relating to ESG, Social Value or Impact
- Experience of selling to senior executives and mid-managers

- Into private and public sectors
- Adept user of the HubSpot CRM
- Experience as a company ambassador at industry events
