About Us
Our Client, a very well-established Print & Digital Publisher based mid-Ulster, wishes to appoint an Events Executive to work across its several established publications.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced, proactive and highly organised Events Executive to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for overseeing the planning, production, and delivery of a wide range of events from proposal through to successful execution. This is a fast-paced, varied role with opportunities to work across both our events and publications businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end planning and execution of events
- Speaker liaison, including organising travel and accommodation
- Assisting Event Manager with all operational tasks on the day of a conference
- Exhibition and sponsorship sales, as well as managing bookings
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with sponsors and commercial partners
- Developing and executing targeted marketing campaigns across digital and print channels
- Maintaining and updating company databases and contact lists
- Assisting editorial teams with research, fact-checking, and proofreading for publications
Ideal Candidate
We are seeking a motivated self-starter with a passion for events and communications, and a strong eye for detail. We are looking for someone who can work independently and handle multiple priorities with confidence. You will have:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with a professional and engaging manner
- Experience working to tight deadlines and managing competing priorities
- Demonstrated excellent attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- The ability to take initiative and work independently
Qualifications and Experience:
- Graduate-level education
- At least 2 years experience in events coordination or similar roles (preferred)
Additional Requirements
- Access to your own transport is essential
- Flexibility to attend events that will include overnight stays, early starts, and late finishes
