Location: Northern Ireland

Our client is a market leader in comprehensive, tailored maintenance and property services solutions, specialising in a range of property and grounds maintenance services across Northern Ireland and in ROI. They are looking to appoint a Business Development Manager to join their growing team.

The role:

  • Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities across public and private sectors
  • Manage business accounts and identify opportunities to upsell and cross sell
  • Collaborate with operational teams to develop tailored service solutions for clients
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activity, and potential growth areas
  • Negotiate contracts and manage the onboarding of new clients
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity and pipeline

The person:

  • Demonstrable experience generating new business and meeting sales targets
  • The ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation
  • Proven ability to drive sales process from plan through to sale
  • Proven ability to present the Key Selling Points of each service and position them against competitors
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • Ability to plan and prioritise workload
  • A hunter with a can do mindset

Desirable:

  • A knowledge or interest in the local business community would be preferable
  • Previous Experience within the Facilities Management/ Grounds Maintenance/ Property Maintenance Industry

Benefits:

  • Generous Base Salary (£28-32k - depending on experience and calibre of candidate) and uncapped bonus (OTE £38-£42k in first year)
  • Car Allowance (£3600 p/a)
