The role:
Our client, one of the UKs leading telecoms providers, is looking to appoint a Business Development Manager to join its busy team. This is a very rewarding role for the right candidate, you will be joining an established team with an abundance of industry expertise and a collaborative team ethic to help support your development.
Your responsibilities:
- Sell Telecommunication solutions to businesses via face-to-face meetings booked by the telesales team.
- Self-generate additional appointments and referrals.
- Build, develop and manage a pipeline of potential customers through a CRM system.
- Learn and develop a knowledge of the products available.
- Be confident and clear in dealing with potential customers and be able to give advice on solutions suited to their needs.
- Self-manage your development through guidance from senior staff in your department.
Key criteria:
- 2 years experience in a business-to-business sales environment.
- Demonstrated history of developing new business in a field-based role.
- A highly motivated, self-starter.
- Tech savvy with a demonstrable track record of quickly learning and understanding new product offerings.
