A rapidly scaling UK FinTech is looking for a Head of Digital Workplace to build and lead a modern, AI-enabled internal technology function from the ground up. This is not a traditional IT leadership role. The business is looking for someone who thinks about employee technology the same way great product companies think about customer experience — removing friction, automating repetitive work, improving productivity, and creating a seamless digital environment across the organisation.

You’ll lead the strategy and delivery of the entire internal digital experience for a 200+ person remote-first business experiencing exceptional growth. Key areas of focus include:

  • Employee digital experience & service delivery
  • Workflow automation & AI enablement
  • SaaS governance & vendor management
  • Joiner / mover / leaver processes
  • Microsoft 365 & digital workplace operations
  • ISO-aligned governance, security & compliance
  • Building and leading a high-performing Digital Workplace team

The ideal background:

  • Experience leading Digital Workplace, IT, or Business Technology functions within high-growth SaaS or technology businesses
  • Strong Microsoft 365 governance knowledge
  • Proven experience improving employee technology experience, not just maintaining infrastructure
  • Experience driving automation and AI adoption initiatives
  • Comfortable operating at senior leadership level and influencing across the business
  • Experience with SaaS portfolio management, governance, and optimisation.

This is a genuinely exciting opportunity to shape how technology supports a scaling business at a critical stage of growth.

  • Remote-first culture
  • Strong benefits package
  • AI-forward environment
  • High visibility leadership role
  • Opportunity to build a function from first principles
