Overview
At Clari + Salesloft, the Deal Desk Manager will serve as a key advisor, providing strategic deal strategy, pricing guidance, and operational support to enhance revenue velocity and scale.
Responsibilities
- Serve as deal copilot, advising sales leadership in the assigned territory.
- Support international sales teams with deal structuring, pricing and cost modeling, custom commercial terms, proposal enhancement, and quoting support.
- Enforce pricing, discounting, and commercial guardrails, offering creative alternatives to drive revenue and margins.
- Lead process and system improvements to closure, collaborating with Business Applications, Field Sales, Revenue Accounting, Finance, and Order Management; perform UAT as needed.
- Represent the Deal Desk on cross‑functional projects to accelerate process velocity; perform UAT as needed.
- Deliver ongoing enablement on pricing, deal strategy, booking policies, and commercial guardrails.
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of deal desk experience.
- Strategic thinker with relentless focus on execution and operational excellence.
- Exceptional customer service orientation with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to build cross‑functional relationships.
- Ability to thrive in fast‑paced environments and work extended hours during end‑of‑quarter and high‑volume periods.
- Strong Salesforce (SFDC) and Excel skills.
- Knowledge of basic revenue recognition principles.
- Strong presence and communication with Sales and Finance leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or equivalent experience.
