Overview Of The Role: We are looking for an Account Executive to join Salesforce's high-growth Data Cloud business, sitting within the wider Data & AI organisation. In this specialist role, you will drive strategic Data Cloud opportunities across key UK financial services accounts, partnering closely with enterprise account teams to accelerate adoption and revenue growth. This is a high-visibility position within one of Salesforce's fastest-growing business units, offering the opportunity to shape cutting-edge customer data and AI transformation initiatives for some of the UK's most important financial institutions.
Responsibilities:
- Drive and progress strategic Data Cloud opportunities across major UK financial services accounts by qualifying deals, leading use‑case workshops, positioning solutions, and influencing complex enterprise sales cycles alongside core account teams.
- Partner with Core Account Executives across the territory to identify, shape, and advance high‑value Data Cloud opportunities, bringing deep data‑platform expertise into matrixed account environments.
- Accelerate customer adoption and consumption of Data Cloud solutions, helping enterprise banking clients modernise their customer data and AI capabilities through Salesforce's Data 360 strategy.
- Support revenue growth across new business, customer adoption, and expansion, with performance measured across Annual Contract Value, consumption, and New Non‑Order Value targets.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven enterprise sales experience at a senior Account Executive level, with a track record of selling data, AI, or Customer Data Platform solutions into large, complex organisations.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate and influence matrixed enterprise account environments, including large internal and external stakeholder groups.
- Experience working with major financial services customers and managing complex, multi‑stakeholder sales cycles in a specialist or overlay capacity.
- Strong data and cloud platform acumen, including familiarity with Customer Data Platforms (CDP) or lakehouse providers.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience selling against or working within CDP competitors.
- Ability to lead use‑case workshops and facilitate complex opportunity qualification and objection handling in a specialist overlay model.
- Experience ramping quickly into strategic accounts with active renewal cycles or near‑term revenue opportunities.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to influence enterprise account teams without owning the primary customer relationship.
