About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

The Experience

The Slack Account Executive role is part of the broader Salesforce ecosystem — where humans and agents drive customer success together. As a Slack AE, you don't just sell a product. You help enterprise leaders see what becomes possible when their people, agents, apps, and data are all connected in the flow of work. You'll partner with Salesforce Core Account Executives to bring the power of the agentic enterprise to life — with Slack as the System of Engagement at the centre of it all.

We're looking for a proven sales professional who thrives on solving real business challenges, earning trust at the senior level, and closing complex deals that make a measurable difference.

What You’ll Actually Be Doing

  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior business leaders, identifying key challenges and positioning Slack as the connective layer in their agentic journey.
  • Partner with Salesforce Core Account Executives, Solution Engineers, and partners to co-sell, build compelling business cases, and close strategic multi-stakeholder deals.
  • Own the full sales cycle — from pipeline generation and discovery to negotiation and close — while maintaining accurate forecasting.
  • Represent Slack at industry events and bring thought leadership insights that help customers reimagine how work gets done.

You're Our Person If...

  • You have experience as a quota-carrying SaaS sales professional with a track record of meeting and exceeding targets in complex high velocity environments.
  • You've led multi-stakeholder sales engagements, including C-level discovery conversations, and know how to align buying groups around a vision.
  • You bring strong pipeline generation skills and know how to build net-new opportunities alongside existing relationships.
  • You can articulate value in a way that connects to a customer's specific outcomes — not just product features.

Even Better If...

  • You have experience selling collaboration, productivity, or enterprise software solutions.
  • You're familiar with team-selling environments and have worked alongside core sales teams or partners to progress and close deals.

Unleash Your Potential

When you join Salesforce, you’ll be limitless in all areas of your life. Our benefits and resources support you to find balance and be your best, and our AI agents accelerate your impact so you can do your best. Together, we’ll bring the power of Agentforce to organizations of all sizes and deliver amazing experiences that customers love.
