The Strategy and Operations Senior Analyst at Salesforce will play a crucial role in creating the strategic and operational support structure for the Specialist teams in Specialization CoE focus. This is a multi-faceted role which will span strategic planning, sales strategy, finance, and analytics β requiring a mix of market & business analysis, sales optimization, and business operational support. The individual in this role will be responsible for helping with the analytics and planning for the Specialist Sales teams globally. They will work on a variety of strategic and operational projects across functions, for example evaluating market opportunities, business planning, performance tracking, forecasting, sales operations, building scalable reporting structures. The role requires significant interaction with various areas of the organization such as regional strategy teams, specialist sales leadership, product and Cloud GTM teams, central analytics teams (i.e CRO Business Operations) and provides daily exposure to senior executives. A successful candidate will have relentless curiosity and possess a passion for extracting insights from data and converting ideas to action. Key Responsibilities: β Assist in ongoing analysis of business performance to support daily operations β Design and interpret key performance metrics, and deliver insights & recommendations β Help maintain weekly forecasts of business performance for sales leadership β Assist in developing and delivering presentations for senior executives β Support strategic initiatives including evaluating areas of opportunity for the business unit β Assist in troubleshoot operational issues as they surface; propose changes to systems/processes to fix root causes β Prepare analysis and recommendations for sales and strategy leadership to support strategic decision making Desired Skills/Experience: β 3+ years of work experience focused on quantitative analysis, financial modeling, and logical reasoning β Previous experience in working with specialist sales teams is a plus. β Bachelorβs degree from an accredited university or equivalent relevant experience β Self-starter with a high degree of motivation to go above and beyond β Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to structure complex problems and propose innovative solutions β Comfort running complex analyses and modeling in Excel or Google Sheets β Experience with Org62 and Tableau dashboards is a plus. β Strong presentation skills, especially related to building compelling PowerPoint or Google Slides presentations β Experience in management consulting, finance, product management, sales strategy, or sales operations β Experience aggregating large datasets using SQL, SOQL, Tableau or similar analytical packages is a plus β Experience in automation or scripting using Javascript, Google Apps Script or similar is a plus Accommodations If you require assistance due to a disability applying for open positions please submit a request via this Accommodations Request Form.
