Job Description
The Salesforce legal department is uniquely technology-driven and dynamic. Based in Salesforce's London office, you will gain hands-on experience supporting our Commercial Legal team with high-velocity deal work and our privacy team with legal and regulatory matters across the UK & Ireland.
As a legal summer intern, you will gain invaluable insight into the legal issues affecting a leading cloud computing company.
What You'll Do
- Participate in customer contract negotiations and legal research, e.g., advise on NDA negotiations
- Shadow legal counsel on high value complex technology agreement negotiations
- Become familiar with legal playbooks
- Assist with research tasks into new and emerging areas of law
- Evaluate legal issues relating to contracts and privacy matters across Europe
- Contribute to both complex projects and day-to-day responsibilities within the legal team
Minimum Requirements:
- Currently in the penultimate year of a Law degree (LLB) or non-law degree (with intention to complete GDL/SQE), graduating in 2027
- Positive and professional attitude, including dependability, timeliness, and a penchant for discretion
- Interested in gaining experience within a technology company's legal department
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English (oral and written)
- Strong attention to detail, excellent written communication, and the ability to simplify complex legal concepts
- Ability to collaborate effectively across diverse internal legal and business groups
- Ability to research legal and business issues and learn new concepts quickly
- Proactive, results-driven, and eager to learn
Preferred Requirements:
- Strong familiarity with technical Internet concepts and cloud computing
- Strong interest in and/or experience in the high technology industry
- Demonstrated aptitude and passion for learning new things
- Commitment to and interest in community service
