About the Role
Our team sells the full Salesforce product portfolio into the Building Society and Mutual sector, partnering with some of our most strategic enterprise customers. As an Account Executive at Salesforce, you will engage with existing customers and new leads to sell the entire Salesforce Customer 360 platform. You will build positive, trusted relationships with key stakeholders and C-suite decision makers across your accounts, helping Building Societies transform how they engage with members, grow relationships, and deliver exceptional member experiences. You will combine warm leads with whitespace prospecting to identify and create new opportunities across your territory.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
- Develop strong relationships with key customer stakeholders and drive customer satisfaction, aligned with long-term business and member objectives.
- Build and execute strategic account and territory plans across the Building Society sector.
- Lead the end-to-end sales process, engaging the appropriate Salesforce resources including Sales Engineers, Professional Services, Executives, and Partners.
- Formalise a go-to-market territory strategy and create a qualified target account list within 30 days.
- Drive growth within existing assigned accounts by sharing the Salesforce value proposition and identifying opportunities for upsell and cross-sell.
- Identify new business opportunities through whitespace prospecting, leveraging industry knowledge, customer insights, and Salesforce's broader ecosystem.
- Develop compelling business cases that demonstrate how Salesforce can help Building Societies improve member engagement, operational efficiency, and growth.
You're Our Person If You Have...
- Demonstrated success in quota-carrying, technology solution-based direct sales.
- Experience selling into Building Societies, Mutuals, Financial Services, or adjacent regulated industries.
- Experience developing account plans to retain and grow Annual Contract Value (ACV) through upsell and cross-sell strategies.
- Ability to uncover customers' current processes, business objectives, and strategic goals through discovery, use cases, and value hypotheses.
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to engage credibly with C-suite and senior business stakeholders.
- Strong customer communication skills across written, verbal, and presentation formats using tools such as Slack, Google Slides, and Zoom.
