Role Overview

The Director of Product Liaison for Agentforce Life Sciences (AFLS) is dedicated to elevating the success of our customer software implementations. In this role, you will bridge the gap between product engineering and field execution, implementing best practices and tools that accelerate deployments while ensuring top-tier quality. Acting as the primary connection point among Salesforce Professional Services, SI Partners, customers, and our internal Product teams, you will leverage your deep technical and industry expertise to drive innovation and streamline complex integrations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, pilot, and scale AI-driven implementation playbooks and automation tools to streamline data and process transformations (e.g., from Veeva Vault to Agentforce Life Sciences).
  • Establish standardized methodologies using generative AI platforms to reduce manual effort during complex system integrations.
  • Evaluate and continuously refine implementation tools based on direct feedback from field deployments.
  • Create reusable implementation assets, reference architectures, and training modules to build capability across our internal teams and SI Partner ecosystem.
  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert, fostering collaboration between product engineering, field consultants, and customer implementation teams.
  • Develop and deliver targeted technical enablement workshops and field guides to continuously upskill global teams.
  • Lead technical discovery sessions to identify common requirements and integration needs across core commercial Life Sciences use cases.
  • Partner closely with Product Management to prioritize feature enhancements based on implementation trends and high-impact customer needs.
  • Publish solution blueprints and configuration best practices for recurring workflows to minimize the need for custom development.
  • Consistently develop and deploy implementation accelerators and process improvements that measurably reduce time-to-value for customers.
  • Lead regular internal and external enablement sessions to drive adoption of best practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement in global Solution Design implementation assessment scores and support overall growth goals for the Life Sciences portfolio.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10+ years of software implementation and integration experience within the Life Sciences industry.
  • Demonstrated, focused expertise in designing and implementing Veeva Vault CRM solutions.
  • Proven track record of developing scalable implementation methodologies, best practices, and technical tools that improve project outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Applied experience using leading AI platforms (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor) to develop software implementation tools, scripts, or operational accelerators.
  • Experience managing, collaborating with, or leading offshore software development teams.
  • Strong familiarity with the Salesforce platform and its broader integration ecosystem.

When you join Salesforce, you’ll be limitless in all areas of your life. Our benefits and resources support you to find balance and be your best, and our AI agents accelerate your impact so you can do your best. Together, we’ll bring the power of Agentforce to organizations of all sizes and deliver amazing experiences that customers love. How to prepare for a job interview at Salesforce

Brush Up on Your Coding Skills

For a full-time software engineering role, it's crucial that we stay sharp with our coding abilities. Expect technical questions that might involve solving problems on the spot or discussing algorithms. Practise on platforms like LeetCode or HackerRank to get comfortable with the types of questions that often come up.

Know Your Tools and Frameworks

Make sure we’re well-acquainted with the tools and technologies listed in the job description. Familiarise ourselves with any specific frameworks or programming languages mentioned. If Salesforce uses React or Node.js, for instance, be ready to discuss how we’ve used them in previous projects or coursework.

Showcase Your Projects

Bring along a portfolio that highlights our best work. This could be code samples, GitHub repositories, or any side projects we’ve built. Make sure we can talk through our thought process for each project, especially the challenges we faced and how we solved them—this shows our problem-solving skills in action.

Prepare for Behavioural Questions

While technical skills are key, full-time positions also require cultural fit. Be ready to discuss our previous experiences and how we handle teamwork, conflict, and deadlines. Brush up on the STAR method—Situation, Task, Action, Result—to clearly articulate our past experiences when discussing how we've contributed to a team.
