About Salesforce
Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.
At Salesforce, we believe that AI requires a trusted context. Join our Data Foundation Pre-Sales team as a trusted advisor helping clients envision the transformation of their businesses through Data Governance, Data Catalog and wider platform offerings coming from Informatica and MuleSoft and focussing on Data and AI within Salesforce.
You’ll work alongside Account Executives and C-level leaders, connecting deep technical capabilities with high-impact business outcomes in the age of agentic AI.
Why Join Us?
- Supportive Culture: Be part of an inclusive, highly collaborative pre-sales team with dedicated mentorship focused on your long-term career growth.
- Impactful Work: Work at the forefront of AI and data innovation, directly helping enterprises solve complex compliance, governance, and architecture challenges.
- Core Values: Work for a company that leads with Trust, Customer Success, and Equality.
What Your First Year Looks Like
Instead of measuring success by arbitrary years on a resume, we evaluate candidates on impact. Here is how your role evolves:
- In Your First 30–60 Days: You'll complete onboarding, pair with senior teammates on customer opportunities, get certified on core Data Foundation products.
- By Day 90: You’ll start to lead technical discovery, present customer demos, and own the technical sales process for the opportunities.
- Beyond: You’ll lead high-level architectural workshops with C-suite executives, architect tailored Proofs of Concept (PoCs), handle RFIs/RFPs, support public events and mentor incoming team members on best practices.
What You Bring:
To hit the ground running in this role, candidates must possess the following core credentials and domain expertise:
- Pre-Sales & Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated experience in enterprise technical sales, consulting, or solution engineering, with a proven ability to build relationships with decision-makers, CxOs, and technical influencers.
- Data Governance Domain Expertise: Hands-on experience working with data governance, data catalog, data quality, or similar tools.
- Technical Communication & Storytelling: Strong presentation skills with the ability to translate complex data concepts into compelling business outcomes and architectural solutions.
- Education: A Bachelor's or above degree in Computer Science or a closely related technical field.
- Regional Mobility: Ability to travel as needed (up to a maximum of 50% of the time) across the UK and Ireland region.
Bonus Experience (Desired, Not Required):
We actively seek candidates with prior exposure to the following areas. Bringing any of these to the table is a big plus, but a lack of experience is not a dealbreaker:
- Data & Cloud Fundamentals: Practical understanding of hybrid software deployments, database design, data warehousing, or business intelligence concepts.
- Specific Product Ecosystems: Hands-on experience with other Informatica or MuleSoft tools, such as MDM, data and application integration, and APIs.
- Regulatory Frameworks: In-depth knowledge of compliance mandates (e.g., GDPR, BCBS239, EU AI Act).
- Advanced AI Concepts: Specific exposure to Agentic AI and emerging generative workflows.
- Deployment Architectures: Sound understanding of hybrid deployment models, Data Warehousing, or specific BI software ecosystems.
Don't Check Every Box? Apply Anyway!
Research shows that underrepresented candidates often hesitate to apply unless they meet 100% of the listed requirements. At Salesforce, we value potential, adaptability, and real-world problem-solving just as much as formal credentials.
If you have a strong background in pre-sales and are excited about the future of data and AI, we want to hear from you, even if you don't possess every single item listed above.
Unleash Your Potential
When you join Salesforce, you’ll be limitless in all areas of your life. Our benefits and resources support you to find balance and be your best, and our AI agents accelerate your impact so you can do your best. Together, we’ll bring the power of Agentforce to organizations of all sizes and deliver amazing experiences that customers love.
