About The Role
The Data Foundation International Strategy team partners closely with leadership across Salesforce's high-growth international businesses — including MuleSoft and Informatica. We act as a central hub for strategic planning, business performance insights, and decision‑enabling analytics across our international markets. This is a high-impact, high‑visibility individual contributor role that blends strategic thinking with deep technical and analytical work. You'll be at the core of how we turn data into action across our international business — influencing sales strategy, operational efficiency, product growth, and sales motion. This role is well‑suited to someone with a strong technical foundation who is excited to grow their career at the intersection of data, AI, and automation, and who wants to apply emerging tools to scale how strategy gets done.
What You'll Do
- Act as the go‑to expert on data and analytics for the International business, providing strategic recommendations and insights through compelling, data‑driven storytelling to influence key stakeholders across regions.
- Design and build executive‑level dashboards and self‑serve reporting tools to track KPIs across Data Foundation International, accounting for regional nuances (currency, segment, theatre‑level performance).
- Own the end‑to‑end development of curated datasets and scalable reporting pipelines in Snowflake and other internal tools (Tableau Prep, Airflow).
- Identify opportunities to apply AI and automation — including LLM‑based workflows, agentic tooling, and AI‑assisted analytics — to streamline reporting, surface insights faster, and reduce manual effort in operating rhythms.
- Enable and automate operational rhythms such as QBRs, APMs, G4G, and monthly business reviews by delivering high‑quality insights and visuals tailored to international leadership.
- Partner with teams to standardize definitions, metrics, and reporting frameworks for consistency across international markets and with the broader global org.
Tools & Skills You'll Use
- Strong technical skill set with advanced proficiency in SQL, visualization (Tableau), automation and scripting (Python, Airflow), and modern data platforms (Snowflake).
- Hands‑on experience (or strong interest) in applying AI and automation tooling — e.g. LLMs, AI copilots, prompt‑driven workflows, or agentic systems — to analytics and reporting use cases.
- In‑depth knowledge of sales‑related datasets and metrics, e.g. ACV, OP, pipegen, account, AOV, commit, G4G, carving, etc., ideally with exposure to international/multi‑region reporting considerations.
- Experience managing datasets, building reporting layers, and delivering BI solutions that scale across geographies.
- Ability to translate business questions into structured analysis, and distill complex results into actionable insights through data.
What We're Looking For
- 2–3 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related technical strategy role.
- Strong technical foundation with a clear interest in developing a career at the intersection of data, AI, and automation.
- Strong business acumen with a passion for data and analytics, ideally with exposure to international or multi‑market businesses.
- Proven ability to work cross‑functionally and influence without authority across regions and time zones.
- Detail‑oriented with the ability to zoom out and think strategically.
- A "get‑it‑done" attitude with the curiosity to explore emerging tools (especially AI) and continuously improve how the team operates.
- Excellent communication skills and experience presenting to executives.
