We are looking for an outstanding Senior Solution Engineer to join our Commercial Industries Solution Engineering team, focused on our Mid Market customer segment. A Solution Engineer, also known as a Presales Consultant, Sales Consultant, or Sales Engineer, is responsible for owning the solutions throughout the sales cycle and delivering thought leadership to companies, transforming their customer experience. The role works alongside the UKI Sales team, building team culture and supporting sales in creating AI, Data, and CRM solutions for prospects and customers.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver innovative custom solutions, including solution concepts to key decision makers, addressing business issues and demonstrating value.
  • Coordinate and lead the entire solution cycle through close collaboration with high‑performing teams.
  • Leverage industry experience and develop a point of view based on Salesforce’s solutions.
  • Fully understand and articulate the benefits of Salesforce to customers at all levels, from administrators and IT staff to managers and C‑level executives.
  • Present compelling Salesforce and partner solutions, while supporting relationships with customers and partners.
  • Display initiative, self‑motivation, and deliver high‑quality results while meeting all expectations.

Personal Attributes and Experience

  • Understanding of unique business requirements across multiple industries, translating and presenting them into a compelling vision and roadmap.
  • Track record in solution engineering, consultancy, delivery or training for a software solution organization.
  • Solid oral, written, presentation, interpersonal communication, and relationship skills.
  • Proven time‑management skills in a dynamic team environment.
  • Ability to work as part of a team to solve problems in dynamic, energising environments.
  • Inquisitive, practical and passionate about technology and sharing knowledge.
  • Willing and able to travel occasionally.
  • Degree or equivalent proven experience required; experience evaluated based on core proficiencies for the role.
