About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

About the role:

As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for positioning and selling the entire Salesforce platform. This role focuses on empowering charitable organisations, NGOs, and foundations to drive social impact. As the Core Account Executive, you will coordinate sales efforts across a multi-disciplinary team including Core, Digital (Marketing Cloud), MuleSoft, Tableau, and Slack to provide a unified solution for your accounts.

You will collaborate with customers to evangelise how the Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud Platform can help them reach their mission-critical goals—from donor management and grantmaking to program delivery and volunteer engagement. As this is a Mid-Market role, your territory includes a high volume of accounts, ranging from established partners to "greenfield" prospects. Prioritisation, a "can-do" attitude, and a passion for social impact are essential. We are currently seeing significant momentum in the nonprofit space, and this role is designed to capitalise on our recent innovations in the sector.

What we’re looking for:

  • Sales Success: Demonstrated success in a quota-carrying, technology solution-based direct sales role.
  • Territory & Account Planning: Ability to create strategic plans to achieve sales objectives by effectively identifying and qualifying nonprofit prospects.
  • Research and Discovery: Skill in uncovering a nonprofit’s current processes, fundraising challenges, and mission goals based on impact-driven use cases.
  • Solutioning: Identifying compelling value propositions that address unique nonprofit needs.
  • Customer Communication: Interacting with both tech and business teams, along with executive directors and board members in a clear, concise, and professional manner.
  • Resource Application: Proactively using the full suite of Salesforce resources and tools to drive results.
  • Team Selling: Aligning with account teams, solution engineers, and implementation partners to ensure long-term customer success.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Formal training in a recognised Sales Methodology.
  • Ability to develop business cases and service requirements while leading strategic alliances.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • A proven track record of consistently achieving or surpassing sales quotas.
  • Ideally, an understanding of the Nonprofit, NGO, or Public Sector market, or a minimum of 3 years of B2B technology sales experience.

Why Join Salesforce:

  • Innovative Culture: Be part of a company that's reshaping the future with advanced AI models and cloud solutions.
  • Global Impact: Contribute to products that are transforming industries worldwide.
  • Career Growth: Access to professional development opportunities, mentorship programs, and a clear path for advancement.
  • Benefits & Perks: Check out our various benefits, including well-being reimbursement, generous parental leave, adoption assistance, fertility benefits, and more.

When you join Salesforce, you’ll be limitless in all areas of your life. Our benefits and resources support you to find balance and be your best, and our AI agents accelerate your impact so you can do your best. Together, we’ll bring the power of Agentforce to organizations of all sizes and deliver amazing experiences that customers love. Apply today to not only shape the future — but to redefine what’s possible — for yourself, for AI, and the world.
