We are seeking a high-caliber strategic leader for the role of Regional Vice President for Salesforce Commerce Cloud to lead a team of Account Executives. This team is tasked with expanding our Commerce Cloud footprint—encompassing B2C, B2B, and D2C solutions—into new and existing Salesforce customer segments across the UK and Ireland. We are looking for a driven and exceptional First-Line Sales Leader to spearhead strategic Commerce initiatives. You will be responsible for driving success across diverse industries (Retail, CPG, Manufacturing, etc.) and building a robust go-to-market strategy that leverages the power of Data + AI + CRM to redefine the future of digital shopping.
As a Sales Leader, you will lead a team of motivated, results-driven Account Executives in a fast-paced SaaS environment. You will be responsible for driving revenue and achieving individual, team, and organisational goals within the UKI territory. You will play a key role in shaping the success of your team by fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous development. Our culture of inclusivity and innovation is central to our success; your leadership will emphasize energy, passion, and adaptability to lead a diverse workforce. Ideal candidates should bring deep experience in B2B enterprise sales—specifically within the E-commerce, MarTech, or Retail Tech sectors—and demonstrate a proven ability to lead teams in achieving exceptional results.
Your Impact
- Team Development: Cultivate a diverse, high-performing team, positioning them as trusted advisors who understand the complexities of the modern digital supply chain and consumer journey.
- Recruiting and Training: Oversee the hiring, onboarding, and professional development of Account Executives, ensuring they are experts in the Salesforce Commerce value proposition.
- Customer Engagement: Support AEs in high-stakes client meetings, providing executive presence and leveraging internal resources to close complex, multi-stakeholder commerce deals.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Marketing, Solution Engineering, and the wider "Multi-Cloud" Salesforce ecosystem to ensure Commerce Cloud is at the heart of our customers' digital transformations.
- Pipeline Generation: Lead targeted initiatives to identify and capture revenue opportunities within key UKI retail and B2B accounts.
- Strategic Mentorship: Guide AEs on navigating "The Great Re-platforming" and positioning AI-driven commerce (Agentforce for Commerce) to increase conversion and loyalty.
- C-Level Engagement: Establish and maintain relationships with Chief Digital Officers (CDOs), CMOs, and COOs within customer organizations.
- Go-To-Market Strategy: Execute the UKI GTM strategy for Commerce, ensuring alignment with global business objectives and local market nuances.
- Sales Forecasting: Provide accurate, data-backed reporting on pipeline health and revenue forecasts to Area Sales Management.
- Team Spirit: Champion an inclusive, winning culture that empowers team members to excel and innovate.
Ideal Candidate Skills and Experiences
- Proven Sales Leadership: Minimum 10 years of experience in enterprise software sales, with a significant portion dedicated to leading high-performing teams to consistent quota achievement.
- Commerce & SaaS Expertise: Strong understanding of the E-commerce landscape (B2C/B2B), including headless commerce, omnichannel strategies, and the impact of AI on personalized shopping.
- Team Building: Proven track record in recruiting and developing sales talent, with a focus on coaching AEs to handle complex, long-cycle digital transformation deals.
- Strategic Thinking: Proficient in aligning commerce solutions with broader business goals like GMV growth, customer lifetime value, and operational efficiency.
- Data-Driven Decision-Making: Expert at using data for forecasting, territory planning, and identifying emerging market trends in the UKI landscape.
