Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn't a buzzword — it's a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.
The UKI AI Centre is a purpose-built environment designed to help customers experience, understand and apply AI in a meaningful way. It brings together immersive storytelling, interactive activations, digital experiences and high-impact moments that make the potential of trusted enterprise AI tangible. We are a specialist team within pre-sales, focused on inspiring, exciting and educating customers through experiences that go beyond a traditional meeting, presentation or demo.
We are looking for a senior experience designer with a passion for creating memorable, intuitive and well-crafted visitor experiences. In this role, you'll help shape how visitors see, feel, navigate and interact with the AI Centre. You'll work across spatial, digital and visual elements, creating an experience system that makes AI feel clear, relevant and engaging.
You want to make a difference by designing experiences that help people see, understand and engage with AI in new ways. You care deeply about how an experience looks, feels and flows, and you know how to turn complex ideas into clear, useful and memorable moments.
- Experience Designer: You think end-to-end, considering how visitors move through a space, interact with content and connect with the story being told.
- Visual Storyteller: You use design, layout, hierarchy, motion, imagery and tone to make complex ideas feel clear and engaging.
- UI/UX Thinker: You understand how to design digital interfaces, interaction patterns and user journeys that feel simple, polished and purposeful.
- Creative Problem Solver: You can turn ambiguity into structure, bringing fresh ideas and practical solutions to design challenges.
- Connector & Collaborator: You work well across disciplines, partnering with strategists, engineers, programme leads and subject matter experts to create joined-up experiences.
- Quality Champion: You have a high bar for detail and consistency, making sure every visitor-facing asset feels considered and well executed.
You will also have a strong sense of curiosity and a passion for how AI, design and storytelling can come together to create meaningful experiences. You should be comfortable moving between big-picture experience design and detailed UI/UX decisions, and enjoy creating visual systems, digital interactions and design patterns that feel polished, intuitive and consistent.
Required Experience / Skills:
- Significant experience in experience design, UI/UX design, service design, product design, interaction design, visual design or a related creative discipline.
- Proven ability to design end-to-end experiences across physical environments, digital interfaces and visual content.
- Strong portfolio of work showing high-quality UI/UX, visual design, interaction design and user-centred thinking.
- Experience creating design systems, visual languages, templates or interaction patterns that improve consistency across multiple touchpoints.
- Ability to translate complex ideas into simple, intuitive and engaging experiences.
- Strong understanding of user journeys, information architecture, visual hierarchy, accessibility and usability principles.
- Experience taking ideas from ambiguous briefs through to concepts, prototypes, designs and delivered experiences.
- Confident using modern design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud or similar.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain design decisions clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and organised, with the judgement and seniority to manage your own work, make sensible day-to-day decisions and know when to escalate or seek input.
- Comfortable collaborating with engineers, strategists, programme leads and subject matter experts to bring ideas to life.
- Interest in AI, emerging technology and how design can make complex concepts more understandable and engaging.
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Experience designing for interactive environments, innovation centres, executive briefing centres, experience centres, exhibitions, museums, retail spaces or other visitor-facing environments.
- Experience designing touchscreen interfaces, kiosk experiences, interactive installations or large-format digital displays.
- Familiarity with motion design, animation, video, spatial design or environmental graphics.
- Experience working with AI, CRM, data, enterprise technology or other complex B2B technology concepts.
- Experience collaborating with technical teams to move designs from concept into working digital products or interactive experiences.
- Understanding of Salesforce, Agentforce, Data 360 or the broader Salesforce platform would be beneficial, but is not essential.
- Experience creating assets that can be reused, adapted and scaled across different contexts.
Measures of Success:
- Visitors experience the AI Centre as a joined-up, polished and intentionally designed environment.
- Digital and interactive experiences are easy to use, visually strong and aligned with the Centre's purpose.
- Activations and visitor-facing assets feel consistent, useful and ready to support a wide range of visits.
- Early ideas are shaped into clear design concepts, practical direction and deliverable outcomes.
- The team benefits from stronger design systems, templates and patterns that improve consistency and speed.
- Stakeholders see the role as a trusted design partner who brings creativity, clarity and sound judgement.
- The Centre experience continues to improve through thoughtful iteration, feedback and experimentation.
As this role is focused on the physical AI Centre visitor experience, regular presence in the Centre will be required, with an expectation of at least three days per week on site.
