Job Summary
We’re seeking a high-energy, goal-oriented Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing SaaS startup on a contract basis to cover a period of maternity leave. As an SDR, you’ll be the first point of contact for potential customers, generating qualified leads and fuelling the sales pipeline. Your mission is to engage prospects, understand their pain points, and introduce them to how our solution can drive value for their business.
The Role
- Identify, research, and target ideal customer profiles within our SaaS market
- Conduct outbound outreach through email, phone, and LinkedIn to engage decision-makers
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads and schedule discovery calls
- Maintain accurate lead and prospect data in our CRM
- Collaborate with marketing to optimise outreach messaging and campaign strategies
- Continuously learn about our product, industry trends, and customer pain points
Qualifications and Skills
- A self-starter with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, constantly evolving startup environment
- Driven by targets and motivated to exceed expectations
- Curious, coachable, and eager to learn about our product and industry
- Prior sales or lead generation experience
- Proven experience in sales tools like Clay and outbound calling and mailing platforms like Lemlist. Support will be provided.
