This is for an experienced negotiator who's tired of fighting for every instruction, losing valuations to the agent down the road, and chasing vendors who won't take advice on price. Imagine walking into the office on Monday and every property on your board is already yours to sell. No pitching. No prising listings off competitors. No tyre-kicker valuations. Just a steady pipeline of finished, photograph-ready homes — refurbished to a standard most agents never get to list — landing on your desk and waiting to be sold.
That's the role. £50k OTE, Glasgow-based, hybrid, and structured around the part of the job you're actually good at.
The model
The business sits inside a wider property group. A sister company sources, buys and renovates properties across Scotland and the wider UK. Once they're finished, they come straight to you to list, market and sell. No third-party vendors. No instruction battles. No managing seller expectations on price because the price has already been worked out commercially before it hits the market. It's an unusual model and it changes the job completely. Your time goes into the bit that actually generates fees — converting buyers — not into the bit that burns out most negotiators by year three.
How you'll sell
- Listing renovated stock and getting it live across the major portals fast
- Running viewings on properties that genuinely show well — the conversion rates speak for themselves
- Qualifying and managing buyer enquiries from across Scotland and the rest of the UK
- Negotiating offers and progressing sales through to completion
- Building a buyer database that compounds over time as the group's pipeline grows
- Working hybrid — Glasgow office and field — with local travel only
What makes this different from your current seat
- Every lead is a buyer lead, not an instruction lead
- No Saturday valuations that go nowhere
- Stock that sells, photographed properly, priced commercially
- A business that's growing its renovation pipeline year on year — meaning more stock, more listings, more commission
- Genuine influence on how the sales function develops as the group scales
- A small team where your numbers are visible and your contribution is felt
Who we're talking to
A negotiator with a few years behind them who knows the trade inside out. You can value, list, qualify, negotiate, progress and close. You read people quickly and you know when a buyer is serious. You've probably hit and beaten target in a busy independent or a strong corporate branch, and you're ready for a seat where the ceiling is higher and the noise is lower.
You'll want:
- Solid residential sales experience in a UK estate agency
- A track record you can talk through deal by deal
- Full UK driving licence and your own car
- Confidence across Rightmove, Zoopla and a modern CRM
The package
- £25,000–£35,000 basic depending on experience
- £50,000 OTE with a commission structure built to be hit
- Hybrid working between Glasgow office and field
- Local travel only
- A growing business with a clear seat for someone who wants to build something rather than just clock in
