A real support structure behind you, including ongoing training and an HR team who have done your job themselves
Our client is a well-established international brand with a reputation for looking after its sales teams properly.
There's a genuine, people-centric culture here: your ideas are listened to, your progress is invested in, and the training and HR support in place is delivered by people who have done this exact job before, not generic corporate HR.
It's the kind of environment sales professionals stay in for years.
This is a field-based Key Account Manager role covering Glasgow and the West of Scotland, working with a network of retail and trade partner accounts.
You will not be involved in negotiating commercial terms.
Instead, this is a relationship-led role: you'll be out visiting your accounts regularly, building genuine rapport with the in-store and account teams, and making sure they have everything they need, product knowledge, support, and a reason to want you to walk through the door, to sell effectively on the brand's behalf.
The kind of person your accounts look forward to seeing, not just tolerate.
You could be coming from a background managing accounts through a trade wholesaler or distribution channel, or from managing retail accounts directly.
Territory Manager, Account Manager, Business Development Manager, whatever your current title, what matters is that you know how to win people over and keep them onside over the long term.
If you've worked with premium or lifestyle products sold through a retail or trade channel before, that's a bonus, but it's genuinely not essential.
Company car or generous car allowance.
Full benefits packaging with a wide range of benefits and private pension.
