If you're good at selling bathrooms but feel boxed into a purely retail role, this is the kind of opportunity that's worth stopping for. This showroom is part of a trade-led business that is deliberately doing things differently. Faster turnaround, better conversations and more repeat business. The goal is to become the go-to bathroom showroom for homeowners, installers and professional clients. You will be trusted to run bathroom sales properly and grow it.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ownership of bathroom sales, not just walk-in footfall.
- Regular interaction with installers, contractors and professional clients.
- A fast-moving showroom that wins business through speed and service.
- Backed by a cash-strong private group with clear expansion plans.
- A genuine step beyond retail into senior, multi-site or commercial roles.
The Role:
You will own bathroom sales within the showroom, working with retail customers who value clarity, confidence and quick turnaround rather than pressure selling. Alongside retail customers, you will build strong relationships with independent installers and contractors. Some will bring customers into the showroom, while others will rely on you to support them with specifications they can confidently include in their own quotations. You will also deal with professional and project-based customers such as social housing landlords, housing associations and student landlords, where reliability and responsiveness matter more than sales patter. This is a sales-first role. You need solid bathroom knowledge and an understanding of layouts and specification, but you will not be buried in detailed design work. Your value comes from converting opportunities, responding quickly and following up properly. Same-day quotations and clear communication are central to how business is won.
Working Pattern:
The showroom trades seven days a week. This role works five days over seven, with one day off at the weekend and one midweek. Weekend days are the busiest and most commercially rewarding, and the rota is flexible for the right person.
Why This Role is Different:
The business is backed by a financially strong private group with serious growth ambitions. Branch expansion is planned, not aspirational. This year, a flagship stand-alone showroom for a prestigious bathroom brand is opening to serve customers across Scotland, creating genuine progression for people who perform.
What's on Offer:
- Basic salary up to £32,500 depending on experience.
- Uncapped commission paid quarterly.
- Realistic on-target earnings of £45,000–£55,000.
- A role with headroom, not a ceiling.
Who This Role Suits:
This role suits an experienced bathroom sales professional who wants more control, more variety and a clearer future than a standard retail showroom job. If you are good at what you do and want a role that can genuinely grow with you, this one is worth a closer look.
