Run a profitable, established distribution business as your own. You would have total P&L ownership, setting the budget, presenting it to the board, and owning the outcome. Responsibilities include:

  • Sales, margin, stock, purchasing, product range, customer service, headcount.
  • Setting the commercial strategy and delivering it.
  • Building relationships with key contract accounts that drive the business.
  • Opening new customer segments and revenue lines.
  • Sharpening pricing, range and margin.
  • Recruiting and developing a high-performing team.
  • Representing the business in its market and seeking new opportunities.

This role is for someone who is commercially sharp, numerate, and naturally persuasive, leading from the front rather than the office. You should have experience carrying P&L responsibility or running a significant commercial operation. Sector experience is not the main focus; what matters is your ability to build, grow, and lead effectively.

The package includes up to £160k total earning potential — £80k basic, £80k OTE — plus an open-ended profit share, executive car (BMW / Mercedes / Audi), defined-contribution pension, and family private healthcare.
