The Opportunity
This is a senior, commercially focused Global Account Manager role within an established, internationally trading giftware business. You will take ownership of key wholesale and retail partnerships across EMEA, excluding the UK, US and Asia. The focus is on building deep, long-term relationships with distributors and retailers while also identifying and onboarding new partners in strategic markets. This is a predominantly remote, home based role. Most activity is delivered via Teams, phone and email, supported by ad-hoc international travel and a small number of trade shows each year where face-to-face engagement genuinely adds value. You will report directly to the company owner and operate with a high level of trust, autonomy and commercial responsibility.
The Role
- Manage and grow an existing portfolio of international wholesale and retail partners across EMEA.
- Develop long-term, collaborative partnerships with distributors and key retail accounts.
- Identify, approach and onboard new international customers and partners.
- Balance strategic account development with hands-on commercial execution.
- Conduct most sales activity remotely using Teams, phone and email.
- Attend a small number of international trade shows and partner meetings each year.
- Negotiate pricing, terms and commercial agreements.
- Produce accurate quotations and manage ongoing commercial performance.
- Provide market insight to support international growth decisions.
The Person
This role is suited to a senior international sales or account management professional who is comfortable operating independently and representing a brand at a global level. You will bring:
- Proven experience selling giftware or closely related consumer product categories.
- Strong background managing international wholesale and retail accounts.
- Experience working across multiple EMEA markets.
- Confidence building long-term distributor and retail partnerships.
- Strong commercial judgement and negotiation skills.
- The discipline to perform in a predominantly remote role.
- Comfort reporting directly to a business owner.
- Willingness to travel internationally on an ad-hoc basis.
This is not a junior role and not a stepping-stone into management. It is a senior individual contributor position with genuine influence and earning potential.
Why This Role Will Appeal
Senior, autonomous international role. Predominantly remote and home based. Clear global remit across EMEA markets. Uncapped commission on all sales. Direct access to decision-making. Established product range with international demand.
If you are an experienced giftware sales professional who enjoys international account ownership, autonomy and commercial responsibility, this role is built for you.
