The Client: A global software company that promotes a software package which is unrivalled in the Higher Education sector. They have over 50% market share in the UK in a market where they also provide implementation, services and consultancy. They have expanded across the globe in recent years with significant growth in America and Australia. They are now looking for a senior BD professional for the UK market.
The Role: In this role you will target large higher education establishments across the country who are looking to take advantage of the significant commercial and operational advantages of this software along with the impressive ROI. You will liaise at a senior level within each University/College, understand their needs/wants and in turn deliver a solution that is fit-for-purpose. Networking is a key part of this role, so expect to leverage contacts within the decision-making unit along with influencers. You will be impressed by the level of support on offer to ensure you spend most of your time in front of the customer. The culture is open and very collaborative so expect your voice to be heard. Be successful and you will be given the opportunity to run your own BD team.
The Person: It’s likely that you are a senior BD professional with a proven track record of success. Knowledge of Higher Education will be a significant advantage. Applications will also be accepted from those BD professionals who have succeeded in similar markets – Public Sector, Hospital, Schools etc.
The Rewards: A basic salary of £60 – 65,000 is on offer with a full benefits package. OTE £120 – 130,000.
