About us
TradePals is software for electricians. It handles quotes, invoices, jobs and certificates such as EICRs and EICs. Its Capture feature turns photos of the board and the test sheet into a certificate. There's a web app and a phone app.
What you'll do
You'll visit CEF (City Electrical Factors) branches across London, where electricians buy their stock. You'll talk to electricians there and show them TradePals on your own phone. When someone wants it, you sign them up on the spot. TradePals is free for electricians to use. Electricians you sign up pay a one-off £25 set-up fee.
Pay
This is a self-employed, commission-only role. There is no basic pay. You keep 40% of what each electrician you sign up pays for TradePals in their first 12 months:
- £10 from their £25 set-up fee, paid weekly
- 40% of the 3.9% card fee TradePals takes when their customers pay invoices by card through the app, paid monthly
The target is 5 sign-ups a day. That's £50 a day from set-up fees, plus your card-fee share as they start taking card payments.
How it works
We're at a very early stage and there's no structure yet. There's no sales script and no set routine. You choose your days, your hours and which branches to visit. We expect you to build your own way of getting sales, test it and keep what works.
The trial
The first two weeks are a paid trial. You're paid commission on the sales you make in those two weeks. If it works for both sides, we'll then offer you a full-time role.
