We are delighted to be recruiting for a Retention & Renewals Manager on behalf of a global SaaS organisation with their Head Office in Sheffield City Centre.

The Opportunity

You will inherit a high-performing team, maintaining momentum while embedding a proactive, value-led approach to customer engagement. The role combines strong people leadership with commercial awareness, ensuring customers fully adopt solutions, recognise ongoing value, and successfully renew.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and develop a customer-facing team (c.10–15 people)
  • Drive proactive customer engagement focused on adoption, retention and renewals
  • Own renewal planning, retention strategy, and churn risk mitigation
  • Establish clear coaching rhythms and performance expectations
  • Use customer insight and data to improve engagement and outcomes
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Marketing and Support teams

About You

  • Candidates must come from a Retentions or Renewals background
  • Proven experience leading customer-facing teams within Retention, Renewals, Customer Success or Account Management environments
  • Strong coaching and leadership capability with a structured management approach
  • Experience driving customer engagement and long-term retention strategies
  • Commercially aware with strong ownership of renewal performance
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Able to build trust, maintain high standards and lead with a customer-first mindset
