This is a family run retail store with a strong, and long standing tradition of providing high end furniture goods from their prestigious store just outside Sheffield centre. Due to further expansion, they are seeking their next committed Sales Executive to join a long standing team (staff turnover here is incredibly low!).
Aside from the package on offer, this is a brilliant retail role which involves selling some truly amazing products - customers shopping here are there to create homes, not just buy furniture! The role involves direct discussion with customers and suppliers to help and inform them to buy the products most suitable for them and to provide the high levels of service that their customers expect.
Some experience selling furniture, kitchens or high end fashion would be an advantage. Alternatively, you may have a passion for Interiors and are looking to make the move out of the property sector. What is essential is your presentation and communication skills, rapport building and complete professionalism. A good telephone manner and keyboard skills are essential as well as a strong ability to work under pressure.
The store is open 7 days a week, of which you will work 5 days, and weekend working would be a necessary part of the job, as furniture customers shop at weekends and on Bank Holidays, so you must be flexible to be available at those times.
Extensive product training will be provided and they would prefer applicants with experience in selling high end products with personal service. In this role, relationship building is key.
Salary to £25k basic, estimated earnings £33k+ with commission, however this is uncapped, and you will have a quite captive audience. You will also receive 29 days holiday, stats, and several other benefits which can be discussed at interview stage.
