This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to pioneer a new Apprenticeship programme for an innovative training provider. My client is looking for a candidate who is experienced in the field of Network/IT Support and would like to progress into education. This is a great opportunity for an experienced professional to make the leap into the world of coaching, tutoring and assessing. They are a leading Apprenticeship provider within IT, Digital and Data Analysis with fantastic reviews and a Good Ofsted rating.
You can expect full training and ongoing development, as well as a brilliant package, including a basic salary of £32k - £38k (this is negotiable), 26 days holiday plus bank holidays rising to 30 days, and the chance to join a friendly, ambitious, secure company that values the work/life balance of their staff. The role is remote, with occasional visits to the head office in West Yorkshire.
The role will involve the development and delivery of the Network/IT Support Level 4 and Level 3 Standard Apprenticeship programmes. This programme will develop students' Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours in line with our required standard and timescales.
Responsibilities- Responsible for the required number of learners in accordance with company guidelines.
- Responsible for designing/updating the Network/IT Support delivery models in line with BCS requirements.
- Responsible for developing the Network/IT Support qualification in line with the Digital Industry Occupational Briefs.
- To work as part of a team to create the resources and materials required to deliver the Network/IT Support standard.
- To deliver teaching and learning sessions via a variety of delivery channels (Classroom/Remote).
- To ensure learner retention is at an acceptable level.
- Review learners' performance in accordance with operational and quality requirements.
- Motivate/drive learners to achieve in line with agreed targets and deadlines.
- Deliver and support the learning process.
- Monitor Health & Safety, Equality & Diversity and Safeguarding within the settings.
- To provide effective IAG (Information, Advice and Guidance) service to both internal and external clients/customers.
- Promote Velocity 1st at every opportunity with employers and learners, as well as all other internal and external parties.
- Actively market business opportunities and report accordingly.
- Manage own time effectively in order to progress learners including completion of paperwork and updating of systems, ensuring deadlines are met.
- A good standard of general education.
- GCSE (or equivalent) English and maths.
- Network/IT Support experience.
- Network/IT Support equivalent qualifications.
- Knowledge and application of the Microsoft Office 365 suite, Microsoft Server and Microsoft Azure.
- Technology or STEM degree and/or equivalent knowledge.
