Are you the right person for the job?

  • Proven experience as a welder/fabricator
  • SVQ or City and Guilds qualified to level 3
  • Proficient in welding techniques such as Tig / Mig on both mild and stainless steels
  • Capable of passing Tig & Mig coding's
  • Can interpret specifications, drawings, and instructions
  • Can demonstrate a clear understanding of the sequence of events required to fabricate a product from start to finish
  • Committed to adhering to company health and safety policy and procedures
  • Ensure the safe use of hand tools and machinery
  • Willingness to learn new skills and continually progress through the business

What will your role look like?

  • Utilise TIG and MIG welding techniques to fabricate high-quality components from mild and stainless steel, adhering to industry standards and specifications
  • Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and verbal instructions to ensure accurate production and assembly
  • Operate and maintain workshop tools and machinery safely and efficiently, including grinders, saws, and welding equipment
  • Conduct routine inspections on fabricated items
  • Adhere to all company health and safety regulations, wearing PPE and maintaining a clean and organised workspace
