Are you the right person for the job? You will already hold QCF Level 3 Children and Young People and have gained experience of working within a Children’s Residential Setting. A full UK Driver's License is required for this position.
What will your role look like?
- Organising and managing the shift in such a way as to maintain the safety of both children and young people and staff in compliance with regulation.
- Developing, reviewing, and acting upon individual care/pathway plans.
- Contributing to discussions with Social Workers as appropriate, CLA meetings, Education meetings etc.
- Liaising as appropriate with the young person’s family.
- Providing appropriate care within the home, in line with the home’s Statement of Purpose and the agreed individual care/pathway plans to include: Providing general daily care to young people, including as necessary meal preparation and supervision, laundry, cleaning, supervision of social activities etc.
- Maintaining comprehensive records/reports for key young people.
- Mentoring new staff.
- Promoting the ethos of the home.
- Acting as a positive role model.

- Overtime Bonus (£100 for every 50 hours of overtime completed).
- £50 per night sleep allowance when required (approx. value £3,300).
